What we do

Practice directions

I

Legal analysis

We examine your situation against Swiss law and set out the realistic options. You receive a written position with risks named plainly.

II

Document drafting

Contracts, statutes, powers of attorney and claims drafted for your facts. Every clause is written to survive a dispute, not just to be signed.

III

Transaction support

We accompany purchases, sales and corporate changes from due diligence to registration. Deadlines, filings and counterparties are tracked on our side.

IV

Consultations

A focused meeting at our Schweizerhofquai office or online for a single question. You leave with an answer and a concrete next step.

Concord & Partners office in Luzern
About the firm

A quarter century on the Schweizerhofquai

Concord & Partners opened in Luzern in 2001 as a small office for contract and corporate work. Twenty-five years later the approach is unchanged: one partner stays responsible for your matter from the first meeting to the last signature.

We work with residents of Luzern and central Switzerland, with family businesses, and with EU clients whose affairs touch Swiss law. Files are handled in English, German and French.

  • One responsible partner per matter — no handovers mid-file
  • Fees agreed in writing before work begins
  • Documents delivered in plain language alongside the legal text
The process

How we work

Step 01

First conversation

You describe the situation and we say straight away whether we can help and roughly what it involves.

Step 02

Review of documents

We read the file, check the legal position and confirm the scope and fee in writing.

Step 03

Drafting and negotiation

We prepare the documents and deal with counterparties, authorities or the registry on your behalf.

Step 04

Closing and handover

You receive the signed set, the filings confirmed, and a short note on what to keep an eye on.

Expertise

Where our work concentrates

Twenty-five years in one city produces a narrow but deep practice. These are the areas we handle regularly rather than occasionally.

Clients & questions

What clients say

"The shareholder agreement was redrafted in ten days and every clause was explained to me in words I understood. Two years on it has held up exactly as described."

Andrea BühlmannManaging director, Luzern

"We bought a property in Weggis with an unusual servitude attached. Concord & Partners found it before we signed and negotiated it away."

Thomas RegliPrivate client, Zug

"Our GDPR questions as an EU supplier were answered without the usual hedging. The fee matched the estimate to the franc."

Consultation at Concord & Partners

Most matters are quoted as a fixed fee once we have seen the documents; ongoing work is billed hourly at a rate agreed in advance. You always receive the figure in writing before we start.

A short introductory call to establish whether we are the right firm costs nothing. A full consultation with legal analysis is chargeable and is credited against the matter if you instruct us.

Yes. We regularly advise EU-based clients on Swiss law questions and apply the GDPR alongside the Swiss FADP where it is relevant. Meetings can be held entirely online.

Urgent questions are usually answered within one working day. Drafting work normally begins in the same week once the scope and fee are confirmed.
